Beyond Tolerance:
How Muslim-Jewish Collaboration
Can Strengthen Los Angeles

At this living room salon, Dr. Reuven Firestone and Edina Lekovic analyzed the current state of affairs in Los Angeles and helped leaders in the community identify trends and ways to move the relationship forward.

Dr. Reuven Firestone is the professor of Medieval Judaism and Islam at Hebrew Union College in Los Angeles and the cofounder of the Center for Muslim-Jewish Engagement at USC.

Edina Lekovic is the director of policy and programming at the Muslim Public Affairs Council and is the board chair of NewGround: A Muslim-Jewish Partnership for Change
